Recipe is more than anything a place to keep our mint tea experiment notes.

First brew was 2 tbsp (weighed out as 2 oz) of looseleaf mint tea to 454 g water just off the boil into the french press.

First taste test at 2 min: Minty feeling aftertaste but weak
Second taste test at 3 min: Still quite weak but getting there
Third taste test at 4 min: Definitely getting there, but not there yet
Fourth taste test at 5 min: Distinct minty and sweet taste
Fifth taste test at 6 min: Strong minty taste, with the capacity to be overwhelming starting to make itself known
Sixth taste test at 7 min: Nicely rounded mintiness with a slight bitter aftertaste but also good rich, almost nutty or roasty-toasty goodness to it

The leaves rehydrated amazingly well and look just as green as when they were fresh!
